SMC Landcare

I’ve worked with Jake on a number of landscape projects for HOAs that I manage. They are very passionate about landscape, know more than I could ever care to about plants, and strive to do the best by every community they work with. Their water and turf management are top tier arguably the best in the industry.

Our HOA just hired SMC Landcare a year ago and now I love them. They are forward-thinking and look ahead at ways to incorporate designs that will look good and save water. They choose native and adapted plants to reduce water usage and create a look that is unique for the neighborhood. They actually check the irrigation of a bed before installing plants there. The first thing they did in our HOA was install Weathermatic controllers, which I had some reservations about initially, but although the controllers needed adjustments the first summer, they have given us significant cost savings. They plant trees the correct way and add soil amendments that make sense. And the turf in the common areas of our HOA looks better than it has in at least a decade.
