Smith and Sons

I had an outstanding experience with Smith and Sons this winter. I ordered a snowblower just three days before the big winter storm this year, and I told them it was really important for me to have it before the storm hit. I had called around to a lot of other shops and nobody could come close to making that level of commitment happen. The team at Smith and Sons went above and beyond. They had the unit transferred in, assembled, serviced, and ready to go in an incredibly short time. Not only that, but they actually stayed past closing time to make sure it was fully put together and ready for pickup. That kind of dedication and customer service is pretty much unheard of these days. It’s clear this is a hardworking family business that genuinely cares about taking care of their customers.

Just purchased a new Kioti NS 6010, brush hog and grapple from Smith and Sons. I drove 2 hours down to their shop from NH to look at the machine. Once I was at the shop I was treated like I have never been before buy any business. from the moment I walked in the girl at thee desk couldn't have been more accommodating and nice, she then took me down to meet Chris who I had been talking to one the phone. He gave me a tour of the facility. This business is one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. Their equipment and building is so pristine you could eat off it. I was then introduced to everyone we ran into at the shop. Then the big man Dan came in driving his semi. He got out and made time for me. The pride in your company shows through your people and your equipment. I met both of you operators tonight by offering them something to drink. They were very courteous and you could tell take pride in their work. I work for a 4th generation family owned marine construction business based in the Midwest and I know it is difficult to attract good people. I can see that you are doing something right and offer a good culture and work environment to maintain good people. Just want to give a recommendation for smith and sons. In the middle of this blizzard when they are supposed to be closed I called. Dan answered the phone and said he had a snow blower in stock. I made the trek out into the blizzard and arrived. To my surprise Dan Smith (owner) was there waiting with the snow blower. He showed me how to operate it, rang me out, and loaded it in my truck. I got home and was faced with 2 feet of snow in the driveway. The machine in question a 28” Adrien’s deluxe sho cut through the snow no problem and the driveway was clear in no time. Airens Platinum 28” RapidTrak Snowblower Purchase: Absolutely outstanding to deal with. Chris worked very hard to answer ALL my homeowner type questions and never once faltered. I had tried to deal with other and much closer dealers and they all fell short. I ended up, with Chris’s help and guidence, getting the perfect Airens snowblower for my exact needs and budget. Ok they did not have in stock but were willing and able to order it in for me. I did pay “slightly” more for the unit as compared to a box store but the whole experience was truly great and the very, very slight price difference was more than worth it for the results I got. We loved that we could pay our money to a small, local business who truly appreciated us.
