Smoketree Landscape - our job was in November/December 2024. There was a disagreement about how the backyard was graded, but they had a different recollection of what was verbally agreed. Since the contract did not describe the work other than Demo & Fine Grade with a list of materials I couldn’t compel them to fix it. They were willing to do the work for an additional charge but I declined. Smoketree was already the most expensive bid we received. We went with them because of reputation, but that was a mistake. November 2025 update I didn’t mention the Centipede sod they installed before as I thought it was okay. It was dormant in December 2024. Once it started growing it became apparent that about 25% of the yard is Bermuda grass. All this very disappointing given their premium p

My review is the sod I purchased. We did an irrigation system which is wonderful and wonderful job. Bought two trees… wonderful. But the sod… we did not do the whole yard, just part. That detail is important as our old grass has little to no weeds but the sod is covered in weeds. Looks awful and smoketree has not come out to spray it like they said they would. We spent thousands to get what we thought was the best, but the sod is very substandard and would not recommend it

There is an old saying there are only 3 types of services, "good, cheap or fast, but you only get to pick two." My compliments to Smoketree on the remarkable job they did clearing several years of overgrowth on my property. The crew, Connor, Claudio, and Nestor, worked their butts off from 7:30 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon for three days. These guys are craftsmen when it comes to landscaping. Always smiles and a positive attitude, they noticed things that I would have missed. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. We told Brad we wanted an enclosed, private, courtyard space that looked and felt like a space in a French Quarter courtyard. His design/build team took care of absolutely every detail from start to finish and what we enjoy now is even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The quality of the work was amazing, and the men who built it were so friendly, professional and respectful of our space. Worth every penny.
