Sommerer Electric

This company was part of my home warranty. I requested their service to install three ceiling fans with down rods for a total of $696. I returned home to see the three fans installed too low. I contacted the company and shared that the fans were too low. They responded that they would see what they can do. We were contacted and informed that the shorter fan rods will be $50 each. I stated that I would have two replaced and for now and the others later, even though I should not be paying for the work to be corrected. I later requested that two more fans have shorter down rods. I was then told it would be $195 for the two rods and two technicians. I asked why the price increase and was told that each technician gets $90 per hour, and I never requested shorter down rods, although the option o

Just had a brand new home built. The electric work was done by Sommerer. We had an issue with a few outlets so we called Sommerer. They gave us a 2 week repair time. We said ok. They failed to show up. We were forced to call another company that got us up and running. When we spoke to Sommerer, they turned around and said that our warranty was voided for helping ourselves. We didn't know what to do. What a great way to intro a new homeowner. It seems like they do not value standing behind their work or integrity. DRB chose them and we are not finding quality in our builders choices of subcontractors. Talk about unfair!

I strongly advise AGAINST using this company. My builder, DRB, contracts with this company. The entire Sommerer staff is disorganized, dishonest, and unskilled. They have improperly wired and installed faulty electrical fixtures in several homes. This company lacks the display of pride in their work, concern of quality, and have no regard for customer service. I strongly advise that DRB, and other companies, steer away from further partnership with this company. If you are independent client, DO NOT engage in any business with this company.

This company is a joke yall please file a complaint against them as well as report them to code enforcement. The trash who answers the phone definitely have a slick mouth.

After waiting hours for Sommerer Electric technician to come see about a DR Horton warranty issue at our house, I called to talk with him and he told me he rung the house doorbell and thought no one was home and called me and left a message. When I called him back, after looking at our home security video, and told him the video does not show him ringing the doorbell, he adamantly kept telling me he rung our house doorbell. I offered to show electric technician the video, but he refused to look at it. We requested another electric technician, but was told it would take another two weeks and the current technician was on the way to our home. The video of electric technician shows him not ringing our house doorbell, but instead, he placed notice on doorknob, he stands with telephone in hand,
