South Austin Appliance Repair

I've used South Austin Appliance three times in 5 years. Chance is the man. He can fix any fridge or fix a leaky faucet. They do good work and it comes with a warranty. Be patient. Leave them a message and Judy will get back to you. I just bought a used microwave from these guys and it is like new with all new parts. My coffee is HOT lickity split. The door was old but Chance came back the following week with a brand new one.

We made an appointment to have our fridge repaired. Appointment was set for the following Friday. We were told that they would be at our house between 1 and 5 pm. We made arrangements to be at the house all afternoon. When 5:30 pm came and went, we checked our phone only to discover we had a missed call at 4:30 pm from them, and a message saying they were on their way, but needed to to hear from us before just coming over... for the appointment that we had already made with them. Attempted to call, and the techs cell phone was turned off-straight to vm. Left a message, sent a text, called and left a message again on the following Monday... have heard nothing from South Austin Appliance Repair as of the Monday evening. Fantastic service!!!! I used them for warranty work for my house. It was really easy for me and stress free to use South Austin Appliance Repair. They were prompt with scheduling, on time (gave me a 30 minute heads up call before arrival), quick repair time, thorough, and explained everything to me. Our technician was friendly and obviously very knowledgeable. Absolutely will use again and refer to them.

We have used South Austin Appliance for a few years now. They have always been courteous and fair with us. They have even shown up well after hours after being delayed on another service call to address our repair needs. Chance is always straight with us on repair advice and we appreciate their honesty.

We had a horrible experience with this company. We were forced to prepay for parts and labor because they were the only company in the area who could service our Verona stove. It took them over a month to get back to our home to do the repairs and replacements and when they did, it didn't solve most of the problems. We disputed this with our credit card company. They promised to come back to resolve the issues and lied to our credit card company saying they did. They refuse to finish the work and have blocked both my phone number and my husband's. Nice way to treat senior citizens. Our fault was not throwing them out of our home when they demanded full payment up front. Lesson learned.
