Southern Carpets and Flooring

We had our floors redone when we bought our house by this company in 2021. Fast forward to 2024 and the floor planks were separating in 4 different rooms and sagging in some. My husband had to call several times for them to even come out and look at the flooring. The man, who I assume is the owner, didn’t seem like they could even repair it or that he was even interested in repairing it, keep in mind we weren’t asking for the repairs to be free. He even said he was going to get a moisture meter to see if that was an issue and would be back later that day, never saw him or heard from him again. We just wanted it fixed so we could put our house on the market. A week later after calling them repeatedly and them coming by they finally said they would order the flooring and would repair it and

More than satisfied with my overall experience. Salesman was very knowledgeable, professional and helped me get the best bang for my buck. Installation date was set up very swiftly and when the installers arrived they were very polite, worked great together without one having to tell the other what to do. Very fast and careful with our furniture. They vacuumed the entire floor and around the walls when they were finished, even cleaned up their path to where my carpet was being installed, so it's like I never even had them in my house working. Thank you Mark and Dustin for your amazing workmanship.

The folks here are just the best. I went several places but got little to no customer service. I walked into Southern Carpets and as soon as I was in the door was greeted. They took the time to listen to what i wanted made great recommendations. The gentleman came out to give me an estimate and again answered more questions. The gentleman who did the install was professional and went sbob and beyond while installing my floors. Will use them again.

Let's start with the one positive thing I can say. The installers were polite, did fine work and cleaned up behind themselves. Unfortunately that's where the good experience ends. The people that run this place are disorganized and frankly dishonest. First experience went ok had some flooring installed. Then two days after they left, not leaving an invoice for the balance. I got a call from a lady that was quite rude inquiring when I was going to pay. I said I didn't have an invoice assumed it was being mailed. No she said it's customary to drive back to pay I said no its customary to be invoiced. But ok my wife called and was assured they would be in the office till five as she was leaving work early to drop a check. She arrived 15 mins prior to the posted closing time to find the doors l
