We enjoyed working with James. He came recommended from my neighbour and everything that my neighbour said about about him is veery true.He is very experienced and knowledgeable and very professional. He shows up early and does a great job and completed the work at the scheduled time! I would any time work with James ! He also went out of the way to go into my crawl space and fix some of my squeaking floors as well ! Thanks James for the lovely floors !! Also John who works with James is a through professional as well ! He did a great job installing my hardwood floor in my downstairs bedroom!

When we moved into our home 7 years ago, we knew eventually we needed to refinish our floors, as they were two different colors! We finally got around to getting the job done and chose Southern Hardwood after receiving several trustworthy recommendations. The crew was amazing with great communication and explanation as to what the plan was for the day and what to expect. They very professional and easy to work with. Working with James and his crew was a great experience. I decided on Southern Hardwood after collecting quotes and calling other companies. None had the expertise and cooperative attitude of Southern Hardwood. Our 10 year old floors were in good condition, but showing their age. We had Southern Hardwood do a light sand/screening and top them up with a fresh coat of polyurethane. They look totally rejuvenated! James and his crew texted us photos during the job so we could enjoy the progress. James only uses quality products like Bona, and that was one of my criteria. It took only a week from quote to finished job. Yes, I would recommend Southern Hardwood to my Grandma!

Southern Hardwood did a great job of refinishing our oak flooring and stairs. They fixed what another company messed up. Wish we would’ve gone with them the first time around. Would highly recommend their services to anyone.
