Southern Roofing & Renovations

We had hail damage during the storm on March 15. I contacted Southern Roofing and Renovations along with 2 other local companies for quotes. I chose to go with Southern for several reasons: 1) They had a competitive quote. 2) They have an awesome online tool that helped us choose our new shingles. 3) They offered financing. 4) They were able to get us scheduled quickly. 5) They have a great project manager. My project manager was Randy Slaughter, and he was amazing. On April 1 another storm blew one of our turbines off the roof leaving a huge open hole. Randy and his son came out in the rain and put on a temporary patch. In addition Randy and the team at Southern provided me with a detailed and comprehensive damage report for my insurance company. Southern was there with us throughout this process. We had a new roof installed during Covid. Unknown to us they did horrible work. Then we got solar panels which hid the damage done by the previous roofers. When our roof started leaking Southern was there and helped us through a long draw out process with our insurance company, the solar company and our mortgage company. Today we finally have a new beautiful roof.

Had to have my roof replaced after the tornado here and I couldn’t have been more impressed by Corbin Bailey coming in and handling literally everything from the start to finish! He took care of everything making it so easy and stress free! Bryce Ratliff also on the scene keeping me posted every step of the way protecting my home and making sure I was happy with everything was an added bonus!! I couldn’t be happier with my roof and the experience!! Thank you! 😊

Patrick Contrell Came out and looked and said my roof needed to be replaced but my insurance company said it could be repaired so he talked to them and got them to put out some more money and replace it. Once he did we got it going and they came out and took care of it. I had some rotting deck boards so they went over the whole roof to check and see if there was anymore problems before they put shingles on. Patrick is very friendly, easy to talk to, and professional. Would absolutely use them or recommend them to anyone else. Also Theo and his crew did a fantastic job on the roof and they cleaned up everything and ran a magnet. Gone in a day and I couldn’t be happier.

This company left unwanted advertising trash on my door. Thank you for flagging houses in my neighborhood that are safe for thieves to hit. My guess is Southern doesn't even have the required city permit to go door-to-door. Most legit companies get all the business they can handle either from repeat customers or referrals from satisfied customers. If they need to go door-to-door, they at least have the decency & common courtesy to knock and ask in person for business instead of flagging houses for thieves to hit.
