I called to request a technician for our tenant’s building and clearly stated that I was the landlord. I was told there was a minimum service cost, which I agreed to, and that I would be notified of the repair cost after the initial troubleshooting. The technician proceeded with the repair after obtaining the tenant’s approval. The work itself was done well, but as the landlord I received no call or follow-up on the day of the repair, and I wasn’t invoiced until a month later. I had to call to resolve it, which is poor business practice. They later blamed it on miscommunication—an issue similar to one I raised in a previous review.

while there was a fair amount of phone tag involved, everyone I talked with were kind and helpful. Bob came out and pinpointed exactly what would be needed to silence our screaming garage doors, as well as how they could adjust our existing setup so we can detach the doors from the mechanism and open them during a power outage. the quoted price was reasonable and was what we ended up paying. the tech that did the actual work was diligent and quick. both Bob and the tech mentioned we could have complete silence if we changed to a belt system, but did not push in any way. every time we open the doors, we are grateful for the quiet and smooth operation. thank you!

Specialty Door Service sent their tech Brandon out. He definitely went above and beyond to get us going again. We had a stuck door for a busy detail department. He was able to get it work again really quickly and in a tight space. We highly recommend this company. Running a business with five garage doors, we have needed them several times. I changed my garage door opening from two seperate single doors to one wide double door entry. I also have a low ceiling in my garage so since I purchased the house, I have had to duck when walking through my garage or else bang my head on the garage door railings (which I had done a couple of times). I had been told this is simply something I had to live with as a result of the low ceiling. Matt, from Specialty Door Service came to install the new wide garage door. He looked at my setup and told me he would do everything possible to give me a few inches more overhead clearance. He worked diligently on the installation of the door for several hours without taking a break.
