Springfield Community Business Center Commuter Parking Garage

I switched from parking at the Franconia Springfield garage when I was riding the Blue line into DC, to now using the busses here for commuting. I always feel like the parking lot is safe to leave your vehicle during the day, but would also recommend just not leaving valuables in sight regardless.

The garage height to get to the rooftop is very low. If you use a roof rack or lifted your vehicle, make sure to check the clearance - pipes are all exposed so it's a tight squeeze. We had the windows down just to make sure.😅 The view makes up for the anxiety. Chill space. The few times I've been here, there are usually highschoolers or young adults hanging out. Most folks use the slug line or take one of the buses to get to where they need to go - I'm unsure about other amenities and events.

Fire alarm goes off every week, this time at 2 am and it's still going off at 5 pm lol

Nice clean lot. Great place to pick up slugs for commuting. Lots of parking available.

Free parking that allows you to get on the buses and maybe go to the vre or metro trains.
