Stay away unless you have time to micro manage, accept subpar work and double your proposed schedule. Stebbins was hired for a major remodel for our 2nd home (we are located out of town) and halfway through the project it was clear that there was inadequate management, staffing and experience in a number of the items contracted even though they continued to claim otherwise. After falling weeks behind schedule they demanded money (funding draws) in excess of the materials or work completed. If you didn't pay they simply refused to provide workers at the home. Continually promised to finish work or repair work then upon our arrival at the home (again, we are out of town) found no work done, no workers present or work rushed and done improperly. I recently had a new construction vacation home built, located over 10 hours away from my primary home. As to be expected with a long distance build, not being available to inspect progress during the build, did present some quality control issues along the way; to include a contractor who took my money, yet didn’t complete the job. Probably for the better, as the work he did complete failed inspection by the town building inspector. Needing additional work done, I began my search for a reputable local contractor. By far the worst contractor in North Carolina. Constantly telling stories why the company cannot be punctual. Lying to homeowners about quality of work.. doing work in properly. And trying to cover it up. Unless you want your project to completely be done sloppy wrong and not on time and over budget then this is the company for you. Employees do Not clean up job sites drink on the job.

The guys did excellent work we’re very professional took their time to make sure everything was right measurements were proper and we were very satisfied thank you so much!
