Please do yourself a favor and do not hire this guy for any work in your house. Besides shoddy workmanship and damage he did to my house, the worst part is he won’t come back to fix any issues. We contracted Steve’s to tear up a wood floor and replace with tile. He is relatively capable of laying tile as long as the tile does not have to be cut. He can’t cut tile without chipping the edges as he does not have a proper tile saw. His solution was to slather grout on the chips in hopes that it will cover up the damage, which didn’t even last a week. We also have a couple of tiles that have popped up from the subfloor that he won’t fix. Once it comes to grouting, he is in such a rush that he does a poor job (mixes grout way too thin so he can just slap it on), but then he rinses curing grout w
