STI Turf Care Equipment

I bought a new Scagg mower here last year. I have had the most problems out of this Lawn Mow and can’t get any help first the gas tank Started leaking and cracked first two months of purchase. I took it back. They fixed it then I’m later having problems six months a year later the engine light keeps flashing and it’s running very rough. This is a fairly new lawnmower with less than 400 hours on it. They are not willing to give me a loaner lawnmower while they make repairs and I was told today that the service department is closed until Monday. I would not purchase a Scagg from here John, the salesman was no help. He didn’t answer his call when they transferred me Customer service here sucks.

I purchased my Scag mower from this dealer, but unfortunately my experience with the service department has been extremely disappointing. I was initially told that if my mower ever broke down, they would provide a loaner so I could continue working. When my mower did break down, I was then told no loaner was available. I’ve also had multiple service issues where the original problem was not fixed. For example, my second fuel tank was not pulling fuel once the first tank emptied. I brought it in specifically for that issue, but after servicing it, they told me the technician “forgot” to address it. I had to take the mower back as-is because I needed it for work. Was sent to STI by Honda for warranty repair on my pressure washer engine. At first was refused service because pressure washer is a craftsman with a Honda engine. After much discussion the mgr agreed to repair. After not hearing back for 5 + weeks I began to call for an update. Left 4 voicemails and never got a returned call. Finally called main # and found out unit was ready. Went to pick it up and waited at service desk for 15+ minutes but no one waited on me even though employees walked past me numerous times. Finally asked a lady at the parts desk if anyone was working in service department. She said no. Explained I was there for pickup. She was obviously annoyed by my presence but went back to get the unit. She left it in front of me and went back to her customer at the parts desk. I

Technically competent and friendliest service and support for my STIHL power tools. I love my new STIHL Blower with a push button starter and use it to blow dry my Benz when its hand washed. My new STIHL hedge trimmer is an amazing improvement over older model with safety cut off of power to the blades when idle; relocation of on/off switch avoids unintended power off. The blade end has a cap that allows shrub trimming without touching the ground or landscape wall with the blade tip. SMITH TURF has Irrigation solutions and LED lighting for pond and landscaping.
