Hired Ian to work on an unusual project of building a custom desktop for a 120 degree Herman Miller sit-to-stand desk I bought at an office liquidation sale. I designed in a bunch of changes from the stock plywood desktop and he gave me a very competitive quote while answering all my questions patiently and in detail. He walked me through wood types, stains and finishes and then got the project finished within a couple weeks. He was even willing to help with the assembly and delivery for a small fee. The final piece looks incredible in my study. I would recommend Ian highly for custom furniture projects.

Developed a cabinet for my record collection out of cherry with some vintage copper handles (see picture). Fantastic craftsmanship, very communicative throughout the process. Was very receptive to my thoughts and answered my many questions in a thoughtful and helpful manner. Ian did a fantastic job of making the entire experience as interactive as possible, while still imparting his own unique creativity and style on the design. The final product turned out beautiful: I could not have asked for a better home for my records. I would and will happily go back.

We saw one of Ian's tables - and loved it so much we asked him to duplicate it for our dining room. Designed to fit our space and our dining chairs - it is beautiful.
