Sweetwater Center for the Arts

My son participated in a clay camp this summer and absolutely loved it! It was a week long class and they made so many different things! He had a blast and will definitely be returning next year. The price is a great value for the amount of things the kids get to bring home. I'd recommend for any age group. They offer a wide variety of classes that any artsy child would love!

We booked the location for a birthday party and the location is wonderful. The event hall is used on weekdays for art events which gives it a beautiful art decor feel with the tables having the paint marks all over it. The event space is huge and there is access to a kitchen right around the corner with refrigerator for storage if required. There are restrooms including family friendly ones in the hallway. The staff at the site were very friendly and responsive. The booking was done online and we were able to connect with the centre staff over call to address our queries. There are around 8 parking spots at the location but there are ample street parking options around the corner. I love Sweetwater! It is a great place to not only take a class but support locally as we need more art centers in the world- not more Banks! :)

I visited Sweetwater a few years ago for a pottery throwing class and I had the best time! We spent a good deal of time learning and throwing and then we had several pieces at the end of the workshop that we were able to come back and pick up! I'm interested in trying some of their other classes now. As an adult, it's intimidating to learn a new skill and find somewhere to go that's affordable and friendly. This place was perfect!!! I went for a date and would recommend it as a cute date night or a place to go with friends.

Lovely community arts center with a ton of activities for all ages. They have engaging and approachable programming and cool rotating exhibits! I highly recommend the cooking classes with Andrew.
