A Dream Home Renovation Experience with Sylvestre Remodeling and Design I rarely write reviews, but our experience with Sylvestre Remodeling and Design was so exceptional that I had to share. After hearing countless renovation horror stories from friends and family, our project with Sylvestre was refreshingly flawless from start to finish. The Project We bought a 100-year-old craftsman home in South Minneapolis and needed to expand by finishing our attic into a livable second floor. We had a complicated project and the whole staff at Sylvestre proved to be steady companions and thoughtful problem solvers as the inevitable issues arose during our five-month long renovation. They listened to us carefully but also provided great guidance during moments when we weren't sure what to do. We are delighted with the final results!

Working with Sylvestre’s was an incredible experience any way you slice it! As with any project things can go wrong and they sure did with us. But what sets this company apart is how they handled everything. Our contractor, Marc, did an excellent job making sure everything was done right no matter how many times it took nor how long. He continually said “I want you to be happy!” And we are. Our bathroom is beautiful!!! Despite the setbacks and problems that happened we would not hesitate to use this company again.

Silvestre was very responsive and great communication about changes and what to expect. They were very focused on wanting to make our project perfect and make sure we were happy with the end product. They had attention to detail, were kind, respectful and responsive. We would definitely use them again if we have any other remodeling projects.

We had a large brick and stone fireplace with a three sided wood burning fireplace that the previous owner's remodel had in the kitchen. It was not functional or repairable, but we lived with it for years to accomadate the wood burning insert in the basement. We finally decided we needed the space and to get rid of the old unusable fireplace. Sylvestre Remodeling and their crew did a fantastic job, starting with a tricky chimney demolition to ensuring the new custom cabinets matched what was currently in the kitchen from a prior remodel. Would definitely use Sylvestre again!
