We returned from a warm climate to find an icy-cold house. Thankfully TACONIC sent Omar to our rescue. From the moment the receptionist answered our call, we were warmed up by her kindness. Omar too, was friendly and kind. Beyond that he was an adept problem solver. With good judgment from experience and strong analytical skills, he quickly diagnosed the possible cause of the problem with solutions in steps. We had a problem with a heating unit that was releasing cold air through our floor vents. The temperature has been bitterly cold, so we called TACONIC. They sent out 2 technicians, MILTON and EDDIE to fix the problem and they did, while working outside in the below freezing weather. We appreciated their professionalism and would be happy to recommend them,

I have used Taconic in the past and had very positive experiences. However, they have been highly disappointing this time, so I would never use their services again or recommend them to anyone. My furnace started blowing cold air. Taconic came out to diagnose it and repair the issue if possible. The technician told me that my high-limit switch was bad; mind you, I had this repaired by them two years prior. They also said my flame rollout switches (three of them) are bad as well. They claimed my furnace is old, so the high-limit switch keeps going out. I decided to get them repaired because it's 30 degrees out, and I have two small children. Wow! I couldn't be more pleased with Taconic's service and team. They came and fixed 2 problems with my mini-splits that were caused by another company. The whole time, Taconic's team was courteous, responsive, kept me well-posted about ETAs, reasonable, and professional. Sometimes they were even showed up a little early, hallelujah. Not only did they find the problem, they went the extra mile to confirm their fix worked. No cutting corners. Huge thanks to technicians Dan Eddie and Omar, and dispatchers Katherine and Barbara. I called Taconic after a very long 2 years dealing with the company that installed my Carrier air condition and gas furnace. The company that installed my system was a local company out of Harrison NY, (Evolution HVAC LLC) but I realized that they didn’t have the slightest interest in getting it to work properly. Many issues with the furnace went uncorrected for two years until I found a company that knew what they are doing. Fast forward 2 years and a lot of grief, emails that weren’t returned and phone calls that weren’t answered. I called Taconic and spoke to Linda who was very friendly and made you feel like you knew her for years.
