Incredibly happy I called them and I've found my new HVAC people. My AC went out and I called a different company and thankfully they were able to come over that day. Long story short, they got me up and running but charged me almost double what was reasonable to replace a capacitor and clean the outside coil, while recommending I replace the whole system for 10k instead. They said my pressure was a little low, so there's a leak somewhere, so I still had some work to do. Luckily, Temp-A-Tron was the next company I called. I talked to someone on the phone who was really knowledgeable and I could tell he was conscious of what was logical financially when making recommendations. I have a decent understanding of AC systems from working in auto repair, so I knew enough to tell the first guy did

2-year old geothermal system (10-year warranty) acted up intermittently, especially during cold weather. Service personnel did a few checks, found/fixed nothing. Charged $192.50, I expect more trouble. VERY unimpressed.

Great service, Great owner. Tech arrived to repair my unit on time, was very courteous and repaired the unit within an hour. They installed the system for me in 2008 and this is the 1st time I have needed any service.

Temp a Tron has been my HVAC specialist for 20 years. They are prompt, thorough and reasonably priced. I trust them. I moved to Herndon a few years ago and I’m very grateful they are still my HVAC contractor.

They fixed my good friends unit and did not try to upsell them, they just fixed it at a very reaonable cost. Highly recomend.
