Terranova Landscapes & Designs Inc.

Per Pinellas & Hillsborough County FL court records (PUBLIC INFORMATION), owner Michael Steven Linn (AKA: Mike Linn) faced charges for activity in 2019, 2021, 2022 & 2023 for alleged unlicensed contracting, falsely holding himself out as a general contractor, second-degree grand theft ($20K–$100K), scheme to defraud, uttering forged checks/documents, & starting work without permits. There were some convictions. This isn't opinion, it is FACT & public records screenshots can be provided, as well as case #'s. We hired Terranova /Mike Linn for landscaping after seeing he had a general contractor's license (website), & him referred by a mutual friend. We had NO IDEA there was unlicensed contracting! The quote was $51,000. Mr. Linn took a $25,000 deposit (~50%) on May 5th, 2025. Florida Statut

We used Terra Nova for landscape design, outdoor bar construction, pavers and cage design and installation. I have been very impressed with Mike and his team. He is a clear communicator and stands behind his work. We were having with some of our plants not thriving and he has consistently been helpful and stands behind his work.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Mike, the owner was very easy to work with and responsive. The landscape design was beautiful and the fire pit area came out incredible. We now have a whole new outdoor living space. Highly recommend!

Top Notch! Amazing! Those are just a few of the words to describe Terranova. We were looking for an all-in-one company from design to implementation. We wanted someone that could handle multiple projects and bring it all together and deliver in a timely fashion. That is what Terranova did for us. Mike took his time listening and altering our design for our beautiful built-in bar with pergola and grill. He created a wonderful walkway and tied it to our existing pool travertine so it looks like it was done all at the same time. He stripped our landscape back to nothing and built this outdoor living space that we relax in and enjoy everyday. Our neighbors were in awe of the work and how it added to our community. Mike Lynn is a scam artist. Filed for bankruptcy immediately after I paid him half the money for the job($9k). After a few months of calling him, he said he would make payments back. Made a couple of $50 payments and now ghosting me. Do not trust him.
