Tevis Energy

We have used Tevis for many years and have been completely pleased with their service. In the very cold months they have always kept our tank full. We have never experienced a time we didn`t have gas in our tank. They have always been respectful and cleaned up after themselves when cleaning our stove. Their staff has been helpful and courteous. It`s Tevis for us!

Had a 1K gallon propane tank installed below ground. On the first filling the tanks volume gauge failed. It was immediately replaced. Over the next several months that gauge never changed and it was later replaced with a third gauge. SS the months wore on it never showed anything but 70% +- full. As the large snow storm approached in January of 2026 I became apprehensive about what was in the tank. I called Travis and the sent a truck to fill the tank. It took a tad over 650 gallons while the tank showed 70% full. I was told it still need a little more because the truck ran out of ‘product’. Once it was finally filled to appropriate capacity the gauge still read incorrectly. The fill capacity of a 1K tank is 800 gallons. Clearly it would have been cold in the house had I not called. CROOKS!! STAY AWAY!! (We need Negative star options) During subfreezing temps my daughters fuel tank ran empty. We called Tevis (because that's who we have at home), wouldn't fill due to whistle issues. They had their sister company Modern Comfort come out and the guy told us repairs would be "Extensive and take hours" and the cost would be $875, so naturally we thought this included digging up the pipes to replace. When they actually changed it (I was there that day), the guy only changed a small $50 part, but they still charged the $875 PLUS $125 for the initial visit. So there is $1k that they STOLE from us. And now at our house I get a bill for a meter they put on last year (told me they put it on AFTER it was on), never told me it would eventually cost me money to have this on, but n

I have been a customer of Tevis for 13 yrs. They have worked with me when times were hard in setting up payment arrangements and got us through COVID with a break in service. Their rates are always competitive but their personalized customer service is the reason I stay. You will not find a more committed group of folks. You won't be disappointed.

I'm writing this review for my elderly parents, one who happens to have advanced dementia, who have been loyal customers of Tevis since 1972 with automated delivery, a payment plan and pre paid service plan. My mother called me frantic on Sunday February 8th. She was out of heating oil and didn't know what to do. I went to her house to find it already dropping into the 50s inside due to the extreme cold we have been facing lately. She had attempted to call Tevis emergency hotline 3 times and each time she would sit on hold until the automated recording asked for a phone number or if she would like to hold or enter a number for a call back. She elected each time to hold and the system would hang up on her. I called 3 times myself and after waiting for 6 to 11 mins on each call met with
