His responses were prompt and he fixed the issue first thing the next morning. His company opens at 8am and he showed up at 7:45am. Initially, he asked me to send a video of the issue so that he can see if it’s something he can fix. He said he does not want to charge us for a trip if he is unable to help. Very honest man. Many companies would charge $80-150 just for diagnostics. He was able to diagnose the issue through the video I sent him. Meanwhile, another company told me I needed to get a new AC unit for $12,100 and told me it was unfixable. I just replaced my AC unit 3 years ago. Texas Air Care was able to fix it for $850 and even gave my parents a 10% discount. The owner is honest and reliable. Would 10000000% recommend.

I’ve had AC issues since my home was built, 2 years ago. John came out multiple times and did what he could to keep the unit from failing. I was left with no option but to replace the whole unit. The guys came in and got it done! John got my warranty setup and I am at peace knowing I have a great unit that was installed properly. Texas Air Care also installed my Generac. John told me step by step what was happening during installation and the price each step would be. I trust this company and am glad that I found them 2 years ago.

We called Texas Air Care because our unit was making scary noises. John came out the same day. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He didn't just take our money. He realized right away that our unit was probably still under warranty and unfortunately, he was unable to do warranty work on our unit (because of the brand, not him), but he gave us direction and advice about getting the work done under warranty. He even took time out of his very busy day to respond to a couple of questions afterwards. I highly recommend him. He has high moral standards. Good guy.

They quoted $149 for AC maintenance tune up and $225 for thermostat install. This rating is only based on pricing not the service. Other providers charged me $69 for the maintenance and $99 for the smart thermostat install. Get more than one quote before using Texas Air Care.

My experience was positive at first and it began with just a routine maintenance check. However a couple months later my unit began to have issues with regulating air flow from upstairs and downstairs as it is a two-stage unit. I had called TAC to look at it and it happened to be on a weekend. I'm unsure who it was that came out, but $1,300 later I still did not have my problem fixed. In fact he diagnosed it to be a blower problem. When I consulted with a second party, he wasn't even close. It turned out to be a malfunctioning Honeywell controller that regulates the dampers. $500 and problem solved. This company wanted well over $2,000 to replace a blower motor which wasn't even the problem to begin with.
