I had to get some finished plywood for a project in my home in Berlin. I was about to go to Home Depot, but decided to check Atkins prices since it’s local and closer. I was surprised to see that the finished birch plywood was $13 cheaper per sheet than at Home Depot and they were able to deliver to my home for a very low price with a very friendly delivery guy the next morning. Way easier than me trying to figure out how to fit seven 4 x 8 sheets of finished plywood in my SUV. I do a lot of random wood projects around my house and now I will always check Adkins first before going somewhere else.

So glad I found this place.. I was driving up to DE for cedar that the orange store doesn't stock and the blue store had limited beat up stock. The quality of lumber is top notch and beats picking through scraps at the depot. The staff knows their stuff, service is great and delivery is speedy.

I came to shop in the area, and pick up some materials for a hunting camp I'm building in the area. I drive a large vehicle, asked around inside and around the block if I could park there and shop for a couple hours in their store and the area. The general manager was more concerned about me parking my large vehicle than the $500 I was going to spend in his store. I parked where there were no signs. "Sorry sir, I came and asked inside, I couldn't find anyone I came to shop in your store and the area... Can we work something out?? " "I don't care!! Park somewhere else!!" Ok, I'll never shop your stores again. FD let me park 1/2 a block away. I'll go to home depot to shop for materials. Thanks 👍 Of course I have out of state tags. Great Selection and one of the last true family run Hardware stores left. Long time business with longtime ties to the community they support. These are hard to find anymore. Rather shop here then the big box retailers. Keep up the good work.

Service is top notch, both inside and out in the lumber yard. Great selection of what is needed to fix up or build from the ground up.
