The Backyard Zone

We moved into our first home with an in-ground pool just under two years ago. Two seasons with our pool and we have gone through 4 different companies/pool guys as we figured out what we needed to be doing. Jim and Backyard Zone stand head and shoulders above the rest. Jim and the rest of the guys are a wealth of knowledge, show integrity and offer fair pricing. They have helped clean up a mess left by the last company who closed our pool in 24, and opened it in Spring of 25. We started going to Backyard Zone over this past summer for chemicals and they were so helpful and knowledgeable we scheduled to have them close the pool also. We are now on the schedule for opening, closing, and maintenance for next season. What a relief to have found a company who genuinely cares and does things

Ok yes they're a busy crew and schedules get packed but it’s because they work hard and give excellent advice and help. I wouldn’t ask anyone else to help me with my pool (especially after having used 2 other companies which gave me the runaround and left me with a green pool). We were really struggling with the salt cell and chlorine generator on our inground pool for the last two years. We did everything we could to diagnose our issues with just about every pool store in the area, and the only advice we got was to keep adding more chlorine only to have it disperse within days. Finally, I found The Backyard Zone on our pool manufacturer’s website and asked them to come out and fix the salt cell. But in just a few conversations over the phone throughout the day, Jim was able to completely diagnose my salt cell issue and got it completely fixed over the phone. Any other pool store would’ve charged me an expensive visit, but Jim was so kind in being confident that we could handle it inexpensively.
