The Chimney Doctors

December 3, 2024 - If there was a lower star rating I would give it. We purchased our wood stove and had it installed from The Chimney Doctors. Good service until now!!! Had our stove and pipe checked and cleaned in May. Started to use the stove just a few weeks ago. The stove was backdrafting terribly. Thought it might be the weather. We gave it a few days with no improvement. Called to try to get an appointment, was told they were booked solid and would call back. Over a week later no call. Received a text from owner stating she would check and get back with us. No other contact! I have texted and asked when I could get contacted and nothing. I am very frustrated that I have spent lots of money on a stove and installment along with the needed cleaning each year, but now cannot get he

A year ago, we had these folks come cap our chimney. A couple weeks ago a serious wind yanked the cap off. Called for warranty repair and was initially told we would have to pay again, twice what we originally paid!!! We passed and began looking into civil action. Then, out of the blue, Robert, showed up and said he was here to fix our cap issue. He was very experienced and friendly, but remained professional and intent on insuring our cap was reinstalled ... permanent !!! Over all, I give Chimney Doctors an A+ for stepping up and making their work right. And an A++ for Robert, who is truly an asset to the Chimney Doctors Company. We had a small wood stove installed in our home late 2023. A roof leak developed after a few months and Jacob and his crew have gone far above and beyond to help us as, after several service calls, the leak turned out to be a problem with the roof itself, not the installation. Their installation was perfect. From the day everything was completed we've been impressed. We highly recommend this company. They will not let you down!

We had our chimney cleaned this week and Robert did an excellent job. He was very kind and gave us information about how to care for the chimney/fireplace in the future! We were pleased with Robert and the company!

I would rate them 10 stars f it was available, they were that good! I have to say that this company has provided me with the greatest customer service I've have ever experienced, and that's no lie! A family business led by the patriarch of the group Jim, they really want to ensure that everything goes right and that any issues that may arise, is taken care of. Not only did I have a wood burning stove added to my bedroom, but I liked them so much, I had them install a wood burning fireplace in the living room as well! Very reasonable pricing, excellent product selections to choose from, and Jim makes sure you understand the process from start to finish.
