The Davey Tree Expert Company

I would not recommend Davey Tree. About a year and a half ago (Feb/March of 2022) I had Davey out to trim and prune the White Oak next to my driveway. As you can see in the photos one limb hangs over my gutter (it wasn't too far off when they left the job) and several hang so low they touch my head (I'm about 5'10"). They even left the limb growing over the telephone wires untouched. I paid $1100 for the work and apparently should expect to do so every year based on the results I received. I will admit, some of this is on me. The crew came and went while I was at work; so I didn't actually get to talk with anyone on site about my concerns the day of the job. In hindsight I should have called the "arborist" back out before submitting payment. I would recommend working with another company.

One of their commercial work trucks clipped my side mirror with the big trailer in tow and then kept driving. I reported to the office the lady giggled and said a manager would call. Nobody called.

Ben was on time, called on the way, asked good questions & seemed to take thorough notes - but even after I made 2 follow-up calls over several weeks asking about it, I never did receive a quote.

they were asked if they could chip up a large brush pile for me and give me a price - they never got back with me

Never showed up to do the job.
