The Good Move

Excellent customer service! My wife and I just finished our basement, and needed a few items moved there from our first floor. The crew was awesome - they were careful with the furniture and made sure everything made it downstairs perfectly. Brian showed up a few weeks before the move to come up with a quote. On the day of, his team arrived on time and was professional. We weren’t sure of where to place our swing and they helped us bring it up and down the stairs without complaint. They were also transparent in pricing for their additional services like mounting the TV and disposing of our larger items to the dump, which we appreciate. Also, Brian picked up his phone promptly for all communications. Overall, The Good Move did a great job, saved us a lot of hassle. Would recommend.

I choose The Good Move because of their ratings and they were local. We had most everything packed and only needed movers to take furniture and boxes to the new place ( which happened to be on the third floor of an apartment building). They were on time, professional, and very kind. Everything was handled with care and would definitely use them again.

I cannot give a higher recommendation for "The Good Move", they are outstanding. Their owner, Brian, was great to work with. He was very thorough, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable that my short-distance move would go off without a hitch. And it did! The movers showed up within the time they promised (15 minutes into their window) and even texted me when they were en route so I could get my dog ready; my dog loved them, btw. When they arrived, they went right to work, draping my staircase, protecting the floors, and ensuring nothing would get dinged. They moved everything in efficiently, assembled the king-size bed and placed it exactly where I wanted it. Reassembled a gigantic armoire which would have taken me at least an hour. Could not recommend The Good Move more!!! These boys crushed it! Moved what might be the world’s largest, heaviest headboard down one ridiculous staircase and up another without an inch to spare! They showed up on time, were super friendly, polite, and professional, called in extra guys to help last minute, and worked together seamlessly to pull off this almost impossible job…with zero wall casualties!!!
