Kathy is the most experienced and professional countertop designer in the Chicago suburbs!! She has exquisite taste and made the countertop selection for my entire new construction seamless!! She made wonderful suggestions to help guide me through the different areas of my home. The team at the warehouse took very good care of my marble pieces I picked out until it was time for fabrication! The fabrication was topnotch and very precise. They reinforced my marble for my island. Everything looks just amazing!! The owner even dropped off pieces for my tile guys because he was nearby! Just a great team of people who truly care about their product. To top it off their prices are very competitive! This company is a sub contractor for cabinets to go . They were tasked to fabricate and install countertop. They sent out there measuring crew which at the time explained that they might have to put a seam at the sink . Which the client and Myself said no seams . There isn’t a need for one . This is not a large countertop.They called the customer to tell her they are going to charge an additional 250.00 to have the correct amount of people to install the countertop. Talking to the installers today they always send out two people . So hidden up charge for no apparent reason. Showed up today to install the countertop and looking at the blueprints they had in relation to the actual counter top they were off by and 1/8. To which I was told and 1/8 isn’t anything . The Granite & Marble Depot in Westmont did an OUTSTANDING job. I’m not a fan of home remodeling projects because of the stress and aggravation that can arise with projects. However, from the moment I met Kathy, my sales rep, knew this was the right company to handle my project. Kathy was available every time I reached out to her, and she answered every question. The laser measure was great, as he pointed out a few items with my present counters, that we changed with the new counters. The installers were AWESOME! They kept me informed on what they were doing throughout the install, were friendly and answered my questions with a smile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Granite & Marble Depot for all of your future projects, home or business!
