The Home Depot

What a wonderful experience i had recently at this HomeDepot. The Manager Talia and her staff Marilynn A. and Gabriel B. made me feel special. Everyone went above and beyond I went shopping for plants and gardening and receive one free because I didn't have a price. I was amazed thank you so much Baytown Home Depot. This is why my husband loved the store. Keep up the good work.🫵🏽🙌🏽💪🏽🙏🏽

My husband and I went to just look at some things, price some things, kill time. Well, almost 2 hours later, and yes we found many items at a good price, we also found items I had no idea he was wanting, lol. It was stackable tool chests. Similar to luggage only bigger. He is telling me he can fit his battery operated tools in the bottom chest. The chargers in the chest on top of that one, then hand tools, sockets, wrenches in the smaller chest on top. He did not buy it though. We came home so he could see how many cordless tools he had. He got online and by golly they had an online sale, so he bought another cordless tool. By the way, we were treated really well. Asked about 5 times if we needed help or were we finding everything ok. Maybe more, I wandered away from him many times out o

Exercise caution regarding the return policy. I possess a defective appliance, but Home Depot refuses to replace it due to my failure to initiate a claim within the stipulated 48-hour timeframe. Consequently, I have been subjected to a series of calls to various companies, each of which attributes the issue to the other, with Home Depot taking the blame in turn. 🤬🤬🤬

Everything was fine until checkout, when only self check was available (although there were several self checkout attendants?!) and I was trying to put through my military discount (which I was counting on to help save a nice chunk) and was having trouble. I had my small children with me and a large, heavy order. The curly haired girl working around 2 on 2/27 was very unhelpful and said “well if you can’t pull it up, sorry.” I asked “so there’s actually nothing you can do to help me?” She scoffed and said “nope.” I asked for management and we did get it pulled up but that was ridiculous. There was a point in time not long ago that they would have said “thank you for your (husband’s) service, so sorry about the trouble.” What a shame.

Ernie at Home Depot truly went above and beyond to help me. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I had the right equipment for the job I needed to do. His patience, kindness, and professionalism really stood out. I honestly wish more employees were as helpful, kind, and respectful as Ernie. Experiences like this are what keep customers coming back.
