The Home Depot

Horrible store. All associates have attitude and dont want to help. They get mad easy and just want to talk amoung each other, go on break or be on their phone. Can't even ask for help because apparently they hate customer service. Especially return or cashier in general.

Went to Bellport home depot today for Artificial tree Xmas stand & EMPLOYEE BRIAN MURPHY WENT SO FAR & BEYOND trying to help me find one I WAS SHOCKED he was so polite & friendly & helpful but he didn’t find one but Brian didn’t stop looking & he went to co worker BILLY GARDNER & asked him for help & Billy Gardner did everything looking for Xmas stand for me & my wife then Billy suggested going online ordering one WHICH HE HIMSELF DID & long story short Billy got Xmas stand being delivered tomorrow at my house ! They were so friendly I asked for there names & posted this comment ITS NICE TO SEE THESE TWO GUYS REALLY GOING OUT OF THERE WAY FOR ME & My wife! Went to Lowe’s yesterday ( Lowe’s is one mile from my place) for the stand but employees said we don’t have them ! Neither did Home De

I called today to see if the Home Depot in Bellport had snow salt in stock. The woman who answered was rude, unprofessional, and repeatedly cut me off mid-sentence. If that’s the level of customer service they’re providing, I’ll gladly take my business to Lowe’s or Ace Hardware instead.

Edit : on my most recent visit today, Al was extremely helpful when I needed to find some electrical equipment, some of which was in the store and some of which we needed to order from the online store. He was very patient and took his time.It was a great experience. Jillian helped my daughter fix her toy. My daughter has special needs, and I had no idea how to fix it. I didn't want to just leave with the materials to fix it and hope that I could do it myself when I got home. I wanted to have it fixed in the store. So that I knew when I was going home that my daughter was going to be okay. She was so kind and patient and took the time to fix the toy. She sanded it down for us until it was smooth, and my daughter could no longer be hurt on it. If I had cash on me, I would have tipped her!!

Kevin is the store manager at Bellport Home Depot. I wanted highlight Kevin’s superior customer service and going above and beyond any interaction I have ever had with a customer service person. My order wasn’t delivered on time and my project would have been delayed. Kevin took it upon himself to drive 26 miles round trip to drop off my material to ensure my project could continue! Kevin and Home Depot thank you for caring and solving my problem! I have ordered several deliveries over the years and this was by far the number one experience. Give Kevin a raise and your kindness is greatly appreciated. Thank you Kevin!
