Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Went in looking for a piece of hardware was unsure if the sizes were universal tried to ask two different people if it was not their Dept. Ask somebody standing in the aisle of the department he did not even acknowledge me. Finally, a merchandiser offered to help me, but that’s not his job because he doesn’t even work for the store. Left without buying anything very inconvenient. And I work in customer service so I’m very conscious of what good customer service looks like.

The HD cutting station is clutch when you need to break down plywood so it actually fits in your car or SUV—especially for weekend DIY projects like closet build-ins. Just make sure you bring your measurements and flag down someone in the lumber department to help you out. In general, I’ve found HD employees to be more present, happy, and engaging than the folks at Lowe’s, which makes the whole shopping experience—and getting help—way more pleasant.

We were very confused as we began looking at replacing our kitchen cabinets. We called the Bluffton, SC store and were given an appointment the same day to meet with someone in the cabinet department. Collin was a fount of knowledge and provided the guidance and honest recommendations we needed. I want to highlight the excellent service I received at Home Depot Bluffton Two associates, Angeline and Belen from the Pro Service department, gave me the best impression of the store. Worst experience I have ever had when ordering something online. In the end I learned Lowe's had the exact same thing for $300 cheaper and it included free delivery, set up, and haul away of my old appliances. To start, I ordered all new appliances for my home, refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher. They scheduled me a day and told me to get ready to have all my old appliances unplugged and moved out of the way so I borrowed a friends appliance dolly to move them all to the garage. I took off work that day and waited all day for the appliances to come, watching the truck on my delivery tracker.
