If only zero stars were an option. After spending sizeable sums here for both my personal and business needs, I’ve officially hit my limit. I have transitioned every possible need to the Lowe’s down the street. ​Home Depot’s customer service has become nonexistent. They won't stand behind defective products; I had to jump through hoops with Behr for weeks just to get a refund on bad paint. Beyond that, the "locked cage" policy is completely insulting. Whether it’s a $20 spool of wire or a $40 saw blade, you are treated like an untrustworthy thief, forced to wait for an escort just to get to the checkout. ​Add in an attempt to install a dented appliance while hiding the damage, and the choice is easy. I purchased a brand new dryer from Home Depot, and this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. First, it took almost a month for the dryer to be delivered, which was already frustrating. When it was finally delivered, the dryer worked 1-2 times properly . I was then told that Samsung had come out and that the issue was due to improper installation. After all of this, I left a review and was told that Home Depot would look into the situation. They sent someone to inspect the dryer, the technician told me that I should not expect a repair since Home Depot itself installed incorrectly and it ended up burning the cord which could cause a fire on my house. This is unacceptable considering that I paid for a brand new appliance and have only been able to use it once.

This location’s staff were so friendly and helpful! First, we encountered James at the Returns Counter. He made the return process so easy and with a smile! It felt so nice. While searching for items, Lewis from the Freight Team helped us locate the remaining items. Lewis took the time to walked us to all of the items! We were floored by his excellent customer service! This experience made me want to bypass the Winder and Hamilton Mill locations to shop at this store.

I had a great experience at Home Depot thanks to an incredibly kind and helpful employee named John. He went out of his way to help me find everything I needed and made the whole process easy and stress-free. John was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping. Customer service like this really makes a difference—thank you, John, and Home Depot for such a positive experience!

John truly made our experience so much better. We were frustrated after not receiving the screws we needed, and he was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. He took his time helping us find exactly what we needed and never made us feel rushed. His kindness and genuine care really stood out, and we’re very grateful for his help.
