The Home Depot

This review is regarding the plant department. I actually wanted to praise a gentleman that I no longer see in that department. His name is Angel. I called one night late, right before they were going to close. Angel answered the phone, and I asked him if he had a certain plant, he said, yes. I asked him if I had an enough time to get there before they closed, he said yes. He assured me that he would help me get the order ready for me. He was waiting for me when I arrived. He was so kind, helpful and polite. He gathered up my order, and I was out the door in plenty of time. I have been in that department a few times since then, however, I don't see him there anymore. Im not one to write a negative review, but This Home Depot really lacks customer service and needs extensive training ASAP. I come here quite often and I came yesterday to pick up a few hose clamps on the plumbing aisle. I went down to the aisle to get them, and there were 4 employees standing around, with one employee standing right where I needed to get to. So I went to another aisle to get a few different items. Came back, and he was still leaning against the part of the aisle that I needed. I asked him if I could get where he was to get the clamps, and he huffed and rolled his eyes, but moved. I left for the day, but I needed to come in today to pick up some of the wire that is cut to length. (I only needed a few feet, not a roll) so I make my way to the electrical department. I wait

I want to give a huge thank you to the manager and the man with the long dark hair in lumber. 2.27.2026 11:45am.We came in to get boards and the ones left in rack were really warped and not straight. So we asked if we could have a pallet dropped to look for some straight boards. Well the guy that we asked said NO we have to sell all these boards before they will drop another pallet. Now this makes no sense who in there right mind is going to pay 30.00 a board when there not straight ,knots cut out,and warped. So my husband and I asked a manager. I did not get his name but he said YES we sure can get a new pallet of boards to help find the ones you need,he also corrected the gentleman that told us NO! So this Home Depot is great. The customer service is excellent , I had two ladies help me with my Christmas tree on Sunday December 1 2024 , around 4 pm But my experience and why I will return to this Home Depot vs the Lowe’s right by my house … that reason is Virginia! She is wonderful, she checked me out at her register, no wait and helped me with my card, she scanned my coupon. She was so helpful and so sweet to my little boys who were with me. She was the most pleasant person to be checked out by!! That is what you call great customer service. !! Very impressed with Home Depot employees , even in the stressful Christmas time they have!!

20 years ago we bought a LG window style AC at Home Depot. we needed to replace it . Today we bought a new one tit. We were so well accommodated by your staff; Michelle, Patsy, and Frank that they deserve honorable mention. Michelle is spot on a very efficient knowledgeable and great asset to your company.She and her associates make shopping @HD. a real pleasure.
