The Home Depot

After shopping for a couple of items I needed we headed over to self checkout to pay, the line was pretty long but Susan was kind enough to call us over and ring us up! She was so kind and her friendliness was extremely comforting . I never really talk to folks much in the store but she made my dreadful expensive visit to Home Depot so impactful I had to run back in to ask for her name, Thank you Susan.

Today, a guy named Stephen in plumbing was an absolute STAR helping me!! He answered all my questions, and took the time to make sure I knew what I was about to embark upon. He was super helpful, down to earth, and friendly. His East Coast was STRONG which made me feel even more enlightened. Thanks again Stephen, your advice helped me 100%!

Shout out to Andre and Alex at the tool rental department. Alex was very kind to my 4 year old boy and gave him HD stickers. The counter was busy, but he patiently helped me and explained what I needed to know to be successful with my DIY project. Andre was very kind and understanding when I came back to drop off the tool I had rented. I accidentally lost my gloves in the drop-off area, and Andre found them, called me and made sure to have them ready for me when I returned the next day. Thanks for the 5-star treatment and service, gents.

The older women working in the self checkout area needs to learn what personal space means. She was hovering over me (not even 6in away the whole time) treating me like I was automatically a thief, lifting all my buckets and checking every nook and cranny to ensure that I didn’t have any products stored anywhere as I was checking out treating me automatically as if I was already guilty of something. There were many other customers in line, all kiosks were being occupied, but she was particularly interested in me and my transaction, she made it very obvious the entire encounter was extremely uncomfortable and I did not appreciate being treated that way. We will absolutely never come back to the El Cajon Home Depot again the Santee Home Depot is way better.

Mario was super helpful, such a nice guy we looked for a specific washer for a good 15 minutes and couldn’t find it. Randomly this guy shows back up and tells me that it’s bothering him he couldn’t find it and we try again in a different section and we were able to find it. Great customer service he went out of his way when he really didn’t have to, Thank you Mario !
