this spot was the greatest this team at this home depot went above and beyond friendly and helpful i got a sander at the rental counter and the guy suggested i get more disc sand paper especially because I'm 1/2 hour away then we went to paint dept and they too were super friendly and helpful the guy dug around the 1 gallon cans to help us get the 1s we wanted

I have never had a bad experience at Home Depot in Monticello NY. Infact we are frequent flyers and anytime I need assistance whether on the phone or in person every staff member is always helpful. Today I called in to reschedule a delivery because the weather made it impossible for the delivery to take place. I was very fortunate to speak with an amazing young man by the name of Oz. Thank you for taking the time and handling the rescheduled delivery in a patient and professional manner. I had to get s new washing machine, went to honesdale pa, and they didn't have the one I wanted in stock. I paid for the washing machine in PA, by the time I got to monticello to pick it up, it was already at the front of the store waiting . The lady that helped was so sweet, and did everything to make it easier for me. We grabbed 2 buff men the was holding down the floor, and they very nicely loaded it in my van.

If you’re not an expert tradesman or a DIY person, Home Depot can be pretty intimidating. Getting help is usually hit or miss at most locations, but this store actually has a solid attitude. Employees walk the aisles and genuinely ask if you need assistance, which is a nice change. Shout-out to Ossy at Customer Service—hands down the most patient guy in the entire store and absolutely deserving of a raise. I’ve worked with him several times on larger orders and projects. Even when there’s a line, he never rushes, and he’ll bring in other associates to help those customers so he can continue giving full attention to my order. He consistently goes out of his way to make sure everything is done correctly, and if something needs more information, he’ll research it on the spot to get the job
