I applaud Chris, the manager, for helping me out! I showed up needing help getting smoke & carbon monoxide detectors and Chris was so patient and looked at my needs and searched for the best products for my needs. I really appreciate it! Kudos to Port Chester Home Depot! 👏👏👏

This review is not necessarily a view on Home Depot. I actually love the brand and I’ve been shopping here for many many years. This is much more about this location, where there is a mix of employees, specially the older ones, who are very good, knowledgeable, and very customer friendly but on the other side, you have some younger, entitled ones. They look at you with an attitude, “why bother me”, and with a very unfriendly attitude….I understand that not everyone is made for customer service, but if you are not, at least act like you are trying

At a time when most people think Customer Service is nonexistent not at my experience at the Home Depot in Port Chester, New York I rarely if ever go to the store and when I walked in and asked for an item that I was looking for some clear trash bags I was greeted by Rosa in her Christmas elf outfit ready to assist , only did she assist, but she walked me directly to the aisle and picked out the bags for me. She then assisted me by finding an electrical cord for me to do my Christmas lights. Rosa was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure that my experience at the Portchester Home Depot was a memorable one thank you Rosa happy holidays. You’re a great Home Depot associate.

I waited at the paint counter for over 30 minutes with no assistance. After asking for help, I was told that both paint associates were on lunch break at the same time, leaving the entire department unattended. No one offered to call backup or give an estimated return time. After standing there that long, 1 eventually had to leave without purchasing anything. This was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional, especially for a department that many customers rely on. Very disappointing experience.

I highly recommend Josh, at the Home Depot Stamford location, specializing/working for Wren Kitchens! He is super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable!! He really was a pleasure to work with! Go meet Josh and you’ll see what I mean! 🥳🙏
