The Home Depot as you get into Roanoke from 220. Nice selection of home improvement items. They were sold out of the item I needed, but plenty other things to look at and give me some ideas. Nice helpful employees that I encountered.

Lowe’s little sister that copies everything he does is an alright place to shop for home improvement: electrical, plumbing, lumber, tools = here is where they are the same in a couple of ways and most useful and different than Lowe’s and they are a lot more than I am giving them credit for but it’s kind of like the Advanced Auto/Autozone and Petco/Petsmart deja vu like sense you get when thinking of one or the other, but also have appliances lawn and garden stuff, cabinets just if you have never been to one they have everything a home owner would need for a house and is even and has building contractor level supplies and items not necessarily a Ferguson plumbing or a Builders Choice though but has stuff in stock usually when you need a quick fix now or medium and small projects to do while

Purchased a new dishwasher 11/23/25 and was to be delivered 11/29/25. Received text and email it would be delivered between 9a-1p. Throughout the morning the time kept pushing out to 3:30p. At 3p I noticed the order said delayed. No phone call, email or text. I called the number and they said due to someone spraining their ankle, I would not be delivered till Tuesday. I asked if I could pick it up and no, I asked if it can be dropped off at store so I could pick it up and no. Went to the store and management could not get their 3rd party deliver company to pick up. I canceled my order plus the order of my building totaling $7K with the manager. Went across the street to Lowe’s, picked out a dishwasher, which they had 5 in stock and was able to take it home and install it. Thanks to Daniel

If you are even considering purchasing flooring, or for that matter any large home improvement project from Home Depot, I urge you to please read this review in it's entirety first. It may save you a big headache, and having to go through a nightmare such as the one I'm still enduring. I am not one of those crazy people who use all caps when wanting to emphasize a point, but if there was ever a situation that warranted it, this would be it. On January 26, 2024 I purchased $12,513.87 worth of carpeting and LVP flooring for my home. Home Depot requires you to pay for the entire project upfront. I used their in house financing, that provided interest free for six months. So now with flooring purchased, I receive a notification of scheduled install dates of February 12-16. I honestly was very

Store is pushing more and more to the point I dont want to support HD anymore. What used to be a 30 days return policy has turned into only 7 day return policy for certain items. Ive been a HD credit card holder for over a decade. Evidently no one will say anything, its only up to me to read the fine print on the receipt. Policies like this continue to put the burden on customers in a corporate run world. On top of all that, half of what you sell isnt even in the store anymore, but dont worry Home Depot is your place to buy holiday decorations. It used to be a good reliable home improvement store. The icing on the cake was the Employee with the swagger needs to get off his phone when pushing carts around, almost pushed a cart into me. Dont text and drive. Same should apply to employees w
