The Portland Group - Middletown

I am a homeowner. I went in today with a simple question about sink aerators where I wanted to purchase a replacement but the person behind the desk started to help me and then spent 10 minutes ordering a $20 part for a customer he knew over the phone and answering misc telephone calls. Then when he went to help me no apologies, just told me to go ask a plumber. He didn't seem knowledgeable and overall was very unhelpful and couldn't care and I won't go back there again because there are other options around including online.

My experience with this store has been very rude and unprofessional. I bought a product from them that was damaged new in box. I called the store to get a replacement and was told they couldn’t help me… but due to the work I needed I offered to come an just buy a new one and I’d be there in 10 min (5 minutes before close) an was told no problem. As I arrived on the time I said the place was locked up an no one to be found. I found this experience rude an unprofessional and I will be doing all business somewhere else from here on out.

Great customer service, knowledgeable, ethical, and professional. I being a happy customer for the last 25 years. Keep up the good work people.

Can I give a zero star rating? My husband was told he couldn't be helped. The guy working said " I can't bother to help you, I am a warehouse dealer. And walked away from my husband. Seriously!!
