Thornton Park Central Garage

1 of the 2 elevators are busted. The only working elevator has a busted sensor for the 3rd floor rear door that causes it to close and reopen multiple times making people in the lobby and on other floors wait 10-15 mins for it. You can also smell the hydraulic fluid in the lobby. Took 15 minutes to exit the garage as about 5 of us were having issues because the cc reader on the exit is also busted. Don't know yet if it's because their reader's down and needs maintenance or if there's a skimmer, but I guess I'll find out soon. 🙄🙃 Associate on the comms when you call for help isn't familiar with the machine. (There's no RFID/HID reader on the one I'm using.)

Too many reserved and not enough paid spaces and finding the elevator is not easy. Make sure you don’t park on the line - we got a $95 fine. Good rate, similar to nearby pay lots and you might find a spot under cover (at 11:00 on Sunday we were on the roof)

Not only is this the cutest parking garage with the best wall art carefully curated by killer artists this is in a dafe location where I know my car will be safe I don’t have to fight over random Parking it’s so well lit . Highly recommend !

I had a fantastic experience at Thornton Park Central Garage. The facility is clean, well-lit, and feels very safe, even at night. Parking was easy to find, and the rates are very reasonable for the area. The location is perfect—just steps away from great restaurants, shops, and Lake Eola. It made my visit to downtown Orlando completely stress-free. I especially appreciate how smooth the entry and exit process was. Highly recommend this garage to anyone visiting Thornton Park or the surrounding areas!

Pulled into their lot and the machine at the entrance was broken. They had a parking attendant at the entrance who told me $5, I can park anywhere and car is good for the entire night. I went to dinner and was gone for no more than 2 hours. I came back to my car and found a ticket on my windshield from the Parking Garage claiming I now owed them $95. I suspect they put the ticket on my car the moment I walked away. Beware this garage since I believe they do this as some type of scam. I refused to pay the ticket and they now tell me they will send it to a collections agency. Don’t trust this garage or Platinum Parking who runs it. They are tying to scam people.
