Sod delivered was of various thicknesses from 1-2+ inches and therefore was not put down evenly. Large gaps between many pcs. filled with dead grass. So many things went wrong. Worms and fungus and black spot problems immediately. Instructions provided by Jay were inadequate, naming chemicals to use that were sometime not available or not approved. Delivery truck leaked oil on driveway and they never came back to clean. Jay not at all accommodating or willing to compromise on dead lawn. If you are not a full time turf expert, do NOT buy grass from this company.

I'll try to be objective. Pros: Willing to work with me on price for Zoysia grass as I have a very large lawn. Started installing sod on schedule as planned. Replaced a few pieces of sod that were dying. Cons: Has a subcontractor that installs the sod. Installation was not very good with very noticeable gaps between sod pieces. Some sod was very green and other areas were more yellow. Did not sod whole lot and had to inform them about missing areas around periphery. The number one reason for my low rating was the lack of good customer service in handling complaints. Difficult dealing with the company and a subcontractor as neither wanted to assume responsibility for handling complaints. Response time too long when contacted with complaints. Subcontractor had me waiting an hour on him to

I cannot speak obviously for the other reviewer on here but I love this company and these guys. Called Jerry on a few occasions and he answered every time. I needed just over a half pallet of Sea Dwarf and he even cut me a bit extra and charged me half pallet price.... All this is good and fine BUT let me tell you the best part about my experience. Jerry came out and met me this morning, shook my hand and was super friendly. You can tell he loves what he does and is an honest guy. The days of the wimpy handshake and no eye contact does not exist with him. A throwback to the way it should be when dealing with the public. I will drive the extra distance from now on to only deal with them!

Their sod was infested with worms. ENTIRE yard was destroyed. Would not stand behind their product.
