Total House + Flooring

We trusted THF for an almost $14k wool carpet job. We were told installation cost with them is higher because they are very careful to use the best labor. Severely disappointed as we can see all seams and this is NOT normal - it shows either measurements were not taken or received properly or install was done that poorly. We were told the seams would blend more after moving in and vacuuming. I’m posting photos after living here for 7 months- looks just as bad as when installed. They offered a $500 credit for a redo which will get us barely any space redone. This also tells me they agree it doesn’t look right but don’t want to fully make things right. Unfortunately our 2 largest surface areas (loft and master bedroom) are the most painfully obviously poorly done spaces with RAISED seams. Ou

I recently had new vinyl flooring installed that closely matched the existing hardwoods in the public space of the home. I'm very pleased with how good the product looks and Total House did a very nice job installing. They were very warm and easy to work with and I will use them again.

10/10 experience and selection. I visited about 5 different locations that sell tiles and found exactly what I was looking for here. Eager to get our project started 😄👍(our kiddos were also kept entertained with the legos in store while we took our time to sample tiles)

After searching remotely for someone to install new carpet in our home before we moved to the area, we found Total House + Flooring in Southern Pines. They were by far the nicest, fastest, and most professional company I contacted during the research phase. Amy was WONDERFUL to work with, as was the rest of the crew. It was a little nerve wracking choosing new carpet sight unseen, but with Amy’s expert help we found just the right option. She even had some samples mailed to us out of town before choosing. We’ve been in the house for a couple weeks now (so glad to be home 🏡) and it is PERFECT! And they did a great job on the installation! Thanks again to THF for making new carpet happen on such a short timeline to make our house feel like home again. 110% recommend this company!!

It was great working with Francy! It would have been an overwhelming task without her help. Her recommendations for flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, paint colors, etc. were all excellent! Not only tasteful but period appropriate for our 1900’s house. I’ve had so many compliments, and I give all the credit to Francy. She is easy to work with and we really appreciate her patience and extra effort in getting us through this process. Thank you for making my house so much lovelier.
