Town & Country Garages & Cabins

Our garage was built this year by Town and Country. The build itself was fine. My complaint would be around customer service. When we spend that much money it's nice to feel appreciation. It felt more like it's built and we are now done with you. We had some minor things that were fixed post build. The garage door opener had a few issues immediately after building and a few months later. When we called to have them come take a look they offered Garage door repair shops. It just felt tacky. A better response would have been a quick stop by. It was built under 6 months ago and the opener is defective. So we had to solve that on our own. Had they taken the hour to stop by with a better attitude my review would be different.

I want to share that I am very happy with the results of hiring Town & Country. I called up Brian to talk over what options I might have. At first I wanted my old second garage torn down and a larger one built. Brian suggested that because of government red tape and inspections that I might be better off going with an "addition." Because of end size I wanted Brian honestly suggested that it would be quicker and cheaper for me to build onto the current garage. The process took some time, but there are many factors to consider like waiting on the city for permits and also to get in line as a customer for projects already flowing. Don't expect to have a new garage next week, this process takes months. The crew that came to do the work was very professional and friendly. They got the slab pour

Best decision ever! We had, what at least I thought was, a challenging project because of the way our yard was shaped. A lot of dirt had to be brought in to raise the level of our yard. But once the slab was poured, it took just 2 days to build the garage itself. The subcontractors that they used for things like demoing the old garage and building a retaining wall and handicapped accessible ramp were top notch as well! Furthermore, Brian was great to work with! Every time I called with questions, he made me feel like I was his only customer. He made me feel like a friend, not a customer. I definitely recommend them!

We had an addition done on the garage. The slab started cracking the first month, and then over the years, the garage shifted off the blocks and slab because it was never anchored. They waited years with excuse after excuse, and the warranty expired. The trusses were tacked in place with one nail each!!! A New Company came in, and it cost $15K to fix. Not taking accountability and making things suitable for shoddy work is unexpectable.

We've had T&C build three garages for us over the last 10 years. Great working with them. Great communication, garage goes up quickly, good quality. One time the Duluth city inspector found a small gap in the siding and T&C came out right away and fixed it immediately. Highly recommend them.
