I have shipped small loads before with another company and had a bad experience. TSI made this so easy. I worked with Steve and he and the team kept me informed and picked up one piece of furniture in one state and within a week, we had the piece in our home in another state. The movers were professional and called the day before and then about 30 minutes before they showed up for delivery. They even picked up furniture after 2 feet of snow was dumped at the pick up location.

Title: My experience — large upcharge after pickup, surprise third-party delivery I moved from [origin] to [destination] in 2024. I accepted and paid a revised estimate of about $5,000. After pickup I was told my shipment went from 22 to 69 pieces and that I owed an additional $4,500. Delivery on 10/7 was handled by a third party without prior scheduling, and only 39 items were delivered (boxes labeled x/39). I repeatedly asked for the signed order for service, the full pickup inventory, and certified weight tickets to support the upcharge. Communication was stressful and inconsistent. I ultimately paid $2,000 to end the dispute and move on, but this was a difficult experience. I shipped a few pieces of furniture and several small items from my home on the East Coast to my daughter on the West Coast. TSI Shipping made the experience easy and worry free. Their price was reasonable, the people who picked up from me were friendly and wrapped the items well; the guys who delivered it were also friendly, helpful, and careful. Everything arrived in good condition. Company communication was better than expected throughout the process.

Very efficient, easy to deal with. The pick up and delivery of our family grandfather clock was handled with care, and with impressively accurate time windows for both. I appreciate the knowledge and care shown in packing and unpacking the clock.

DO NOT HIRE TSI. TSI was hired to crate up and move two grandfather clocks. On the receiving end the clocks had not been crated and were severely damaged. TSI turfed me off to the sub contractor Plycon, who’s response was I should have brought more insurance and all furniture gets damaged. After several emails and calls TSI confirmed that the clocks had never been appropriately protected and refunded the fee for crating the clocks. It took several months of looking to find a craftsman even willing to give me an estimate on repairing the clock. I sent the repair estimate to TSI but they have yet to respond. TSI neglected to protect my property and now I'm left with a hefty repair bill for my Howard Miller clock.
