I inquired with Sean about performing a vehicle inspection for a Vanagon Syncro I flew out from California to North Carolina for as a potential buyer. Sean spent almost three hours walking through the health of the vehicle with me despite me showing up close to closing time. His expertise was critical in my ultimate decision to not purchase the van and leave empty handed. I left my sunglasses in a tired haze and he enthusiastically agreed to ship them back. He also is helping inquire in his network for a van more suited to my needs and we agreed if something scratched the itch, we would do the buildout together. Respectful tech crew that have a true passion about their craft at Transporter Werks. Very busy shop, so don't expect to have your vessel back ready in two hours. Shop owner knows these precious vehicles through and through, so nothing to worry about. Call ahead of time if ya need anything done, simple as that.

On a trip to North Carolina in the OBX from Quebec, Canada. Mechanical problem with our Vanagon and no garage in the OBX could find the problem or get the parts. I called Sean on Tuesday morning and the same day, we were back on the road and fixed! Excellent service, they took care of us quickly. My experience with Transporter Werks has been outstanding. I purchased a Westfalia in Arizona and had it shipped directly to their garage in Raleigh. Sean and his crew handled everything from getting the van unloaded from the truck to replacing the motor. They are true VW enthusiasts who know these vehicles and can be trusted to do the job right.
