Today, while driving west on Highway 440 near Exit 299, a reckless driver in a new red pickup truck (license plate ending in 4912) nearly caused an accident. The truck abruptly switched lanes at over 70 mph in a 60 mph zone, almost crashing into my vehicle. I called the company to report the incident because their phone number was clearly displayed on the trailer. The trailer was towing construction equipment, possibly a bobcat, and there were two red pickup trucks involved—one larger and one smaller, both towing equipment. The woman who answered the phone initially denied everything, claiming they don’t own red pickup trucks or tractor trailers. However, about 30 seconds later, she contradicted herself, admitting they do have pickup trucks. Her response was inconsistent and dismissive,
