I own several rental houses and have used Tropical For 10 years or so. I have had 3 systems installed and 3-4 repairs done by them. Repairs have always been much cheaper than I expected and system installs were clean and proper. I have never had a bad experience and they have never tried to upsell me anything even kept a 24 year old unit running for me.

Technician was able to help me over the phone. I didn't have to spend a dime. My family has been buying heat pumps from them for years .They are good people to deal with for your heating and air conditioning needs.

Josh and the team at Tropical Heating and Air installed my complete unit a little under a year ago. There was an issue late last night-I called at 5:50 am and Josh was at my house before nine this morning! Where else can you find service like this? The issue had nothing to do with their install because it’s been running perfectly since they installed it. They fixed the issue-get this-didn’t even charge me-even though it had nothing to do with their installation. I can’t say enough about these guys!

In Summer 2014, Tropical Heating and Cooling came out to service my air conditioner/heat pump unit because of low performance. I was told that the outside condenser fan was not working and needed to be replaced. It had to be ordered and I had to wait over the weekend. When the unit arrived and was installed, the fan motor still did not work. The HVAC tech looked puzzled and replaced the start capacitor with one that was in his van. After replacing the start capacitor, the new motor worked. I was charged $354 for the new motor and start capacitor and a recharge of the system. They only checked the low pressure side, not the high pressure side. Later, I plugged in the old motor to see if it was truly bad, and it was not.
