U-Pack

I paid over $4000 to move my items across the country and be stored for a month. Upon opening the cubes almost everything had water damage, 90% was ruined and had to be trashed. I wrapped the mattress in plastic and it had water dripping down the front. The cube had gotten damaged and water was coming in from the roof. Everything not wrapped in plastic was wet, boxes had fallen apart, mold started growing, clothes smelled like mold, shoes fell apart from sitting in water. It was horrible. After I called to report the damage, I was sent a form to fill out where I would be compensated $0.10 for every pound. I have to weigh my water soaked broken TV and get 10 cents per pound. What a joke. If you value your items, choose another shipper.

I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and service that U-Pack provided. The trailer to load as well as unload was delivered as promised. The driver who dropped the trailer off for loading took his time to explain what needs to be done when loading is complete. The pricing was fair compared to other moving companies that I had reached out to. The driver who dropped the trailer off for unloading helped with getting the bulkhead unlocked and making sure the trailer was parked in such a way that it was easy for me to unload. I will highly recommend them for your next move.

We used U-Pack to move from Seattle, WA to St Paul, MN. We couldn’t be happier with the service! I had to get help from out of state family to load and my biggest worry was the truck wouldn’t show. The truck was there right on time with a friendly driver. We were expecting the truck at our new destination closer to the end of the month but it arrived a week earlier than was noted on the tracking paperwork. Amazing! This really set us up in a good position. I contacted their service department a few times to schedule deliveries, set up pick up and the customer service was exceptional! I would use u-pack for my next move in a heartbeat! Thank you!

We had a great experience with upack. Their quote was significantly cheaper than similar options like pods. Trailer was delivered when they said it would be and it was nice to have 3 days to load it. Our bill came in cheaper than quoted since we didn’t use all of the space. Everyone in dispatch was friendly and helpful and they were able to get it picked up right when we needed it to be. We had to use storage - they comped the first month and we were a few days over that when we closed on our new house and they didn’t charge us for the extra time. Our belongings were exactly as we left them when they dropped the trailer off despite rainy/stormy weather during the time it was in storage. Very good experience, definitely recommend!

Excellent customer service. However, it's good to know that your stuff, no matter how well you pack or how many straps you use, will take a beating. Every single box was completely smashed, condensation from outside got into my container and the ink from the boxes bled on a lot of my stuff and stained it. So it's very affordable and UPack is great, but the transportation companies are not at all careful, so beware of that. But overall, I'd use them again.
