UCF Parking Garage H

Parked here to attend a graduation. The parking garage was clean, well-maintained, and felt safe. Several security staff and ushers were present, efficiently directing traffic and helping everyone find their way.

Garage H stands monumentally, perched on a knife’s edge of contention. In the eyes of many it is a quiet and nervous academic bastion, a foreboding breach, the grim boatman to ferry souls from parked car to a midterm in Classroom Building 2. For many more, Garage H becomes a mission critical dropzone for those who chose the bivouac revelry of tailgate. The alcohol fueled, flooded debauchery punctuated by young men in matching overalls tumbling from desecrated porta potties. And yet for all, from that noise and chaos rises like an autumn sun the indomitable spirit of human perseverance—victory before the flames of the academic furnace—all before the majesty of Garage H.

This parking garage has been THE BEST for me as most of my classes were located in Classroom Building 1 and Nicholson’s School of Communication in all my years at UCF, but…. There’s almost never parking. If you can take a class at 8am you will have parking, but if you class is after 8am you might take 30 minutes or more to find parking… Also, beware of the people who willingly go against traffic to steal parkings… it happened to me more times than I’d like to admit.

1st time here for a graduation. I ended up on the top floor in the sun. But plenty of space, thing only con was how far it was from the arena. Very long walk.
