From the moment Eddie showed up to estimate the job, to the final product that Francisco and his team did on my roof, I felt comfortable and confident that I chose the right team to take care of my home. I don’t recommend UEC for work needed promptly or for confidence of a job done well. They were a higher price than others but I went with them based on reviews which was a huge mistake. TL;DR: My $6K repair project was mismanaged—slow to start, abandoned halfway, then billed, with no oversight or communication and was gaslit in the process. The work doesn’t match the contract or our verbal agreements, as pipes and satellites remain on the roof. That said, I am not confident in the quality of what was done. TL; Want to Read?: The project started 2-3 months after signing the contract (a crew just randomly showed up one day unannounced) then was left unfinished and fell completely off their radar for 5 weeks - in the May rain and all. I was billed without any confirmation the job was done,

Our garage needed re-roofing which involved removing and re-installing solar panels from the attached guest house. Firstly, of 5 quotes UEC was very significantly the cheapest - less than half of the most expensive quote (ultimately the job required a little more than the estimator based his quote on, but it was still less than half of the most expensive quote). Secondly, I was impressed that UEC could handle the solar panels, which are continuing to work fine a year after the job. Thirdly, the guys handling the job were efficient and pleasant. The tiles along the roof corners seem likely a bit lower quality than those another contractor used on the guesthouse, but the UEC price was so reasonable so this is understandable. Accordingly, my recommendation based on this job is a strong one.

I enjoyed having the UEC roofing business fix my leaking patio roof. The quote was very reasonable and honest. The estimator suggested everything which I wanted and answered all questions. Yelp inquiries were answered and also phone calls or texts and emails. I was leary about having a good roofing job but Cesar the roofer was very professional and did an excellent job with no leaks so far. The rain postponed the job a bit but he got it done immediately. It was a pleasure and relief to get this fixed.
