Union Square Garage - Park Seattle

The instructions for prepaid tickets are designed by people with a functional literacy no higher than 3rd grade. Warning: no need to scan QR code on your prepaid ticket or exit/re-enter to try to scan again. Turns out that if you’ve provided your license plate, it processes your entry/exit automatically (useful to add to instructions). Of course, now I have a ticket and will need to get the attendant to try to understand the situation, else there is going to be a long backup. Here’s hoping he/she is smarter than the folks who designed the instructions.

This is a big garage that is easy to enter and exit. Car seemed safe there. My only concern is that sometimes it's hard to navigate where to park/which elevator to use to get to a specific location (ie 5th Ave Theater, or the Convention Center)

Entering the garage is kind of tricky. If you follow Google map directions turning right to University St from 6th Ave, make sure you turn right at the third lane. The first two lanes are I-5 entrance instead of University St. I made this mistake and ended up on I-5 north. It took me another 20 minutes to get off I-5 and came back. If you come in from 7th Ave, it will look like you are entering a hotel. The parking entrance is right after the hotel entrance at your right. Once you are in the garage, it's not too bad. The exit can use a better sign though.

Great parking with lots of spots. Just make sure you go to the left to get in or you end up on the highway.

Really nice parking garage, paid $6 after being at ECCC for 4 hours. Press the button on the automated machine for ticket, park, come back, drive to the automated machine, scan ticket, pay and leave. For people complaining about not being able to get back into the parking garage, never had an issue using the NE entrance on 7th, as posted on the building.
