Unreasonable parking fines and not a user friendly system offering only electronic payment requiring work to use. Parked for a short time and received a 65$ fine with threats to send to collections.

Predatory parking system. If you don’t have the ability to pay for parking electronically on either campus you will be subject to over the top tickets which will be sent to collections. I would park off campus whenever possible. This includes other parking lots and Gorham location. -disappointed as former alumni

Beware. You will receive a huge fine. The gate is up, leading you to believe that you must take a ticket. When you drive in and see no ticket dispenser, you assume you pay on the way out. when there is no way to pay on the way out and the gate is up, you drive away figuring the gates must be up for a reason so parking is complimentary. Don't fall prey to those assumptions. Evidently there is a small, difficult to see and perhaps blocked, QR code sign that you must scan when entering the lot. There are no resources for people with accessibility issues, or for those who might not have a smart phone. If you do not see the sign or if you do not have a smart phone, expect at least a $55 fine in the mail. Parking services is unwilling to help.

I was "permanently administratively suspended" by the Dean of Students, as a grad student, due to calling out the corruption of PRRS at USM.

500 dollars for parking is kinda mid, but at least you don't gotta deal with the snow.
